EVERY BRAND WANTS A HOME ALONE ROCKEFELLER MOMENT.
THE ONE PEOPLE REMEMBER, RETURN TO AND TALK ABOUT FOR DECADES.

KIP YARDS ADVISES LEADERSHIP TEAMS ON BRAND STRATEGY, POSITIONING & EQUITY, AND LICENSES ORIGINAL FINE ART, PATTERN DESIGN AND PHOTOGRAPHY TO HOSPITALITY, AND CORPORATE REAL ESTATE.

Brand

Brand is built inside an organisation and held in memory outside it.

A brand can look flawless from the outside. What decides its value is what’s inside: how people communicate, who is heard, and whether the standard holds when no one is watching. Value is rarely lost to competitors. It erodes quietly, in the gap between leadership vision, daily reality and customer experience.

Brand strategy isn’t polish, and every department holds a part of it.

Sessions

Focused sessions that use films, objects and everyday moments to reach what a brand really stands for, without jargon.

  • The Curveball: for founders and leadership teams

  • Monday Morning: brand equity and organisational behaviour, for finance and investment leaders

  • The Pitcher: a first conversation, for any sector

Advisory

For longer-term work, I advise leadership teams where business strategy and creative story meet, so the narrative a brand tells and the way the organisation runs are the same thing. That means protecting value, bringing compliance in early, and building brand architecture that compounds across acquisitions.

Art, licensing and acquisitions

Spaces, like brands, are held in memory.

I license original fine art, photography, illustration and surface pattern to hospitality, real estate and corporate environments, and place works with private and institutional collectors. My photography has been acquired by New York real estate firms and my illustration by Universal for the set of Law & Order. My work has been featured in Dwell and ABC News.

Spatial identity isn’t decoration. It shapes how a place is remembered, how it’s valued, and why people return.

  • Make a place distinctive. Original work gives a hotel or development an identity that generic design can’t.

  • Own what makes it yours. Off-the-shelf pieces dilute prestige. Licensed, origin-backed work comes with clear rights and a story that belongs to the place.

  • Scale without dilution. A consistent visual system can extend from flagship spaces to private suites and branded environments.
